The 12th season of IPL (Indian Primier league) will be start on 23rd march 2019 and just few days from now. The very first match will between defending champions CSK and RCB at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

Chris Gayle, AB De Villiers, Brendon McCullum, Steve Smith, Lasith Malinga, Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan and many more. The tournament, without a doubt, once again, promises to be an extravagant edition for cricket fans from around the world.

Over the years, Some furious batsman as well as bowler have to be impressed everyone. And demolished the opponents with their skills whether it is batting, fielding or bowling.  Like every season, the IPL fans will witness some wounderful and mind blowing innings that will be carved in their memories for many years to come.

That they are much impossible to break this season without a magical intervention from the heaven itself.

#1 Most Sixes in IPL

Any people who watch the cricket, then he will not be surprised that Universe boss Chris Gayle had most sixes in a season of IPL and make a unbreak record in the IPL. Chrish gayle had the record of most sixes in the IPL (292). As we all know that he is a very explosive left hand batsman of west indies.

Undoubtly, because of the fact that he plays in almost every Twent20 league of the the world like as IPL and bigbash, he has a great record for smashing the most sixes in the T20 games (906) across the world.

However, he had a poor show in the last edition of IPL 2018. Gayle is a westindies furios batsman. Recently, he has lost his hard hitter form and will look to cover up the last opportunity at this edition and will be considering his recent form. It is nearly impossible for upcoming generation of cricket to acheive this unbreakable record.


#2 Most Sixes in an inning

A short lived franchises PW (Pune Warriors) India (2011-2013) experienced at Bangalore’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore in their last IPL season (2013). They were up against Royal Challengers bangalore (RCB) possessing the one of the most unforgiving batsmen of the globe – AB Devilliars, Virat Kohli, Tilakratne Dilshan, but on that day, one player who took them apart was Gayle. With his explosive innings, he smashed 1 six and after this he ended up his inning by smashing 17 huge sixes in a match of IPL. He is one of the player who could won the match single handedly. Every one shocked to seem his furious batting as he scored more than 150 Runs in an inning of IPL in first season.

However, he had make the longtime wounderful record owned by another player, Brendon McCullum played  a historical game of IPL in 2008 of first edition of IPL. Then, the closest approach of any player who smashed 12 sixes with 129 runs in an inning of IPL  was AB Devilliers agianst Gujrat Lions in 2016. Before 4 years, Universe boss smahsed a wounderful inning from Royal challengers bangalore in IPL season .

#3 Highest Individual Score in an inning

In IPL 2013, Chris Gayle played for Pune Warriors. Gayle not only broke the most sixes record in an inning of IPL but also went to reach the highest individual score (175). He went again to reach and broke the Brendon Mccullum’s record of 158 runs in an inning of IPL. Surprisingly, it was the highest individual score in T20 format whether it is domestic cricket and also including T20s.

Five years passed to this record and despite the IPL being played on batsman-friendly flat pitches in smaller grounds. However, No player had crossed the 150 run-mark since then. But at that time Aaron Finch had scored the 172 runs against Zimbabwe in a T20 match. Unluckyly, he had not break the record of Universe boss Chrish gayle.
